@mcc this remind me, I got these two from my dad. First one is like a bundle of novels set in different kind of post-apocalyptic future but usually not in a kind of mad max way but later stage where they built something new. Second one is an archeologist expedition of I remember correctly and they stumble upon some people who seem to be made of solid gold.
