@kguy @paul the big issue for Apollo is the deadline. Lot of their user are on an yearly plan which a small margin and can't be made to pay more until the end of their paid period.

Apollo dev mentioned $250k to refund everyone. Napkin math tell me that's 40k user, that will use the paid redis api without paying for it. A 6 month delay would have mitigated the damage as half the user would have been paying for what they use. A 12 month delay might have made the new pricing a non-issue.
