@Specialist_Being_677 @aeva people refitting these N64 controller put a lot of effort in them, like machine made aluminium bowl so hall effect might not be out of the question. They are also a bit expensive, like 2.5 times the price of the N64 controller for switch. Which come in the same shape but the joystick have a springy feel when it snap back to neutral so I guess the mechanism is pretty deceny

@Specialist_Being_677 @aeva I just found out 8bitdo sell a hall effect joystick for original N64 controller. They also sell kit to convert the controller into wireless ones
