How difficult can it be to make a service like 2012 google search?
Crawl internet, keep track of words and link. Give score to page according to entering link. Give big boost if user search the donain name. Basic stuff so we have an alternative to google.

Maybe multiple sites can run each their own search engine while sharing the crawled data, each tweaking their formula so it's harder to do SEO other than good organic content.
