I tried to upgrade my xubuntu LTS install.

I got a message about the thunderbird install migrating to snap. I thought meh, I'll remove it.

Joke on me, I can't, the install is now broken

I don't remember ever managing to upgrade an ubuntu installation. On the other hand, the only time I had an issue with an openbsd upgrade was when I selected reinstall instead of upgrade.

I don't understand how like the biggest linux distro can be so bad while a research project keeps getting better all the time.
