@sAshA8H tofu probably won't work but it might be worth to look into why stuff is used and how to find more vegan alternative. There is an old recipe which is like use leek and wine and bullseed, spend a week heating it and making it cool in a copper cauldron, filter the resulting salt and apply it carefully with a feather. Turn out we now know why it makes something that kill every living thing, even some of the most unkillable bacteria that we have trouble with.
