I think I used a goto instruction once. It was a java group project at the university, the deadline was one hour away and I needed to exit my main loop and skip some code after it or something. The two options I was seeing was to jump to that part of the code or rework the whole main loop. Turn out, if you are at least two loop deep in java, you can break to a label in your function. So I went goto, submitted in time, we both got 18/20, didn't show up at the written part and had to do rattrapage
