A genre that should be easy to setup is gamer people communicating over voice chat. Split the video over a couple screens, render a VTuber in each, make the animation and voice follow a script supplying what is said, in what tone and physical reaction. So it's mostly like writing a visual novel.

I'm not sure free software for voice synthesis is up to the task yet but it doesn't have to be good right at the start
