@jasmine my first reaction was mass is constant but if everything was a single proton, moving back and forth in time, there would be more access to that proton in the middle than in the beginning or end. Then I realized time is fucking long and there are metrics tons of matter in the universe so we probably cannot measure mass being not constant. Still, that would make some fun scifi setup.
